On 20th August, Bittrex, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, will be opening USD markets for XRP [XRP] and Ethereum Classic [ETC]. Both the XRP and Ethereum Classic community have been waiting for this day ever since the announcement was made by Bittrex.
Earlier this month, the exchange platform had announced that they would be opening USD markets for the cryptocurrencies. Bittrex stated that launching the coins with USD pairing will allow users to buy the cryptocurrency directly with fiat currency. The main focus is to create a USD market which is available only on the platform.
Bittrex further added that they will be adding more tokens with USD pairing on their platform in the future. This, according to them, would provide the customers faster, secure and more convenient trading options. In addition, this would also let the customers have access to the most innovative blockchain projects.
The exchange platform currently has a total of six cryptocurrencies with USD markets. This includes Bitcoin [BTC], Ethereum [ETH], Tether [USDT], TrueUSD [TUSD], XRP [XRP] and Ethereum Classic [ETC].
However, only eligible customers will be able to access this service. Customers from California, Washington State, New York State or Montana are eligible to participate in the USD markets. In addition to this, qualified international customers can also trade in the USD markets.
Moreover, the platform is providing the customers with two services for the USD markets. The options being USD trade Only and USD trading, deposits and withdrawals. Users opting for ‘USD trade only’ service will be allowed to only trade the cryptocurrencies with USD pairs. Users opting for the other service have access to all the trading services for the USD pair.
If the customers want to shift from USD trade only service, they are required to submit a fiat trading request form along with their bank details. Customers can also use multiple bank accounts to avail these services on Bittrex.
